Bill S-243—An Act to Create a National Framework for Women’s Health,
will establish a legal obligation to advance women’s health in Canada.
The bill does not prescribe the women’s health strategy. It builds a framework for
accountability that requires the Minister of Health to develop the Women’s Health Strategy within one year of the bill passing, in consultation with stakeholders like you.
