WHC volunteers have one thing in common - They are passionate about addressing barriers, gaps and biases in sexual, reproductive and menstrual health through all the ages and stages of a woman's health journey.

There are many opportunities to volunteer and help us grow the women's health movement in your home province and across Canada. Positions are available on the WHC of Canada Board, Provincial Boards, on advisory committees and work teams in all areas of clinical resources,  education events, youth program, fundraising, government relations, marketing, and subject matter expertise. V

Patient Advisory Council is an advisory group made up of women with diverse experiences in Canada's health system, designed to provide the patient voice to advocacy, awareness and resources. Please complete the Board and Council Application including page 3.

Foundations for Women's Health Leadership Council is a healthcare professional advisory group of thought leaders, health system influencers, and subject matter experts, committed to informing advocacy priorities.

Growing Across Canada

The Women’s Health Coalition was founded in Alberta in 2017 and became a national organization in 2023.  The WHC has a National Board of Directors, Advisory Councils and established Provincial Chapters in Ontario and Alberta.

Start a new WHC Provincial Chapter!  A minimum of 3 volunteers is required to establish a provincial Chapter including: Chair, Clinical Resources Director, and Government Relations Director. We have resources and support to help you start a Provincial Chapter. Additional information is available by contacting info@TheWHC.ca
