Volunteer
WHC volunteers have one thing in common - They are passionate about addressing barriers, gaps and biases in sexual, reproductive and menstrual health through all the ages and stages of a woman's health journey. There are many opportunities to volunteer and help us grow the women's health movement.
Start a new WHC Provincial Chapter!
A minimum of 3 volunteers is required to establish a provincial Chapter including: Chair, Clinical Resources Director, and Government Relations Director. We have resources and support to help you.
Membership
The WHC is a Canada-wide network of individuals, organizations and businesses committed to improving women's health.
Your membership will:
- Connect you to a network of thought leaders and passionate advocates for women's health
- Position you/your organization as a leader for health system innovations
- Provide you with access to members only information, research, tools and resources
- Give you exclusive invitations, networking opportunities and consultations
Youth Council
The Youth Ambassadors Leadership Council (the Council) is a youth-driven movement to address barriers, biases, and challenges that youth face when dealing with sexual, menstrual, and reproductive health. We will build a platform for youth to create safe spaces to share their stories. Through this we aim to increase awareness of youth experiences, disrupt traditional thinking, redefine “normal”, and empower self-advocacy.
Partners
Our Partners are health focused, community-minded leaders and businesses that see the value in supporting programs that support women – in our homes, schools, communities and workplaces.
Advocacy
The WHC takes a leading role in advocating to government to improve support, service, and choice for women faced with menstrual, reproductive, and sexual health challenges.
