Alberta - Provincial Chapter
From the Chair
The Women's Health Coalition of Alberta is committed to building a network of women, healthcare providers, business and community leaders committed to improving women’s health throughout Alberta.
We are working with partners, stakeholders and patient advocates to advance women's health in Primary Care. We are challenging inequities in gynecology, hosting webinars, and releasing podcasts that matter to you. We are looking towards collaborative programs for Indigenous women and the LGBTQ2S community. You can follow our activity on facebook, become a volunteer, and/or make a donation.
Every contribution is making a difference and everyday I am grateful for the tireless efforts of the WHC of Alberta Board members and volunteers. Together we are making women’s health matter.

Advocacy Priorities
Every woman matters! In Alberta, 1 in 5 women feel their gender is a barrier to care. Gynecological inequities in healthcare create challenges for women of all ages and stages in life. Our advocacy work is crucial to helping women navigate and access support in various facets of women's health, such as menopause care, HPV screening and self-sampling, and therapeutic abortions.
